a physical, tackling-first linebacker to watch at Jackson State
Lamar Sims is a **tackling-focused linebacker** who gives Jackson State a dependable presence in the middle, with the kind of physicality and run support that translate well in a linebacker room. The most visible data available here shows a modest 2024 stat line, but that does not capture the value of an instinctive, assignment-sound defender who can fit quickly and play with urgency. If your team wants a **hard-hitting, competitive LB** who looks built for special teams and downhill defense, Sims is worth a closer look.
