Jeremiah Salaam brings experience and playmaking upside to Idaho’s secondary
Salaam is a seasoned defensive back with game experience at Kent State and Idaho, logging 21 games over three seasons and showing ball skills with an interception in the shortened 2020 season. He projects as a steady, versatile DB rather than a pure splash-stat player, with enough size and athletic traits to compete in coverage and support the run. The appeal is his proven experience, transfer background, and ability to add depth and maturity to a secondary that values reliable, assignment-sound defenders.[2][4][5]
