UCSB’s Rebounding-First Forward with Big-Game Bounce
Brandy Richardson has been a sturdy, high-motor forward for UC Santa Barbara, with career averages of 5.5 points and 6.9 rebounds across 121 games, plus a reputation for crashing the glass and protecting the paint[1]. In her UCSB years, she also drew praise for leading the Gauchos in conference rebounding and earning All-Big West recognition, which points to a tough, physical presence who fits teams that value effort, toughness, and interior defense over flash[3][4][11].
