Elite Colgate Linebacker with Proven Tackle Production and Leadership Credentials
Senior linebacker J.C. Gaughan is a **defensive anchor** for Colgate, posting a career-high 14 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and a half-sack in 2022[1]. Named a team captain alongside QB Michael Brescia, Gaughan demonstrates the **leadership and consistency** that define elite defensive players[2]. His high-volume tackle production and ability to impact plays in the backfield make him a **reliable two-down linebacker** who commands respect in the Patriot League. Ideal for programs seeking a vocal, productive defensive leader with proven durability.
