UConn DL with Elite Intensity and 1.0 Sack in 2025 Season
James Atkins, a 6-5, 267-pound defensive lineman for UConn, delivered a 2025 season marked by relentless intensity and a 1.0 sack (245th of 750 DL) alongside 9 total tackles. His differentiator isn't just stats—it's his explosive first-step intensity, personality-driven aggression, and zero injury history, making him a high-upside fit for any team needing a physical, durable DL. Atkins plays with a 'never-back-down' mentality that elevates the entire defensive line, offering intangible leadership and consistent pressure beyond what the numbers show.
