Taysha Rushton brings shot-making, creation, and veteran punch to NKU's backcourt
In the 2025-26 season, Taysha Rushton has been a high-usage Northern Kentucky guard who can score, distribute, and battle on the glass, giving the Norse a steady multi-tool backcourt option.[2][13] Her strongest calling card is her offensive versatility: she posted 8.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in the 2025-26 season snapshot, while her previous stop at UTPB showed real scoring upside at 16.8 points per game with 75 made threes and 50 steals in her lone season there.[4][14] She is only 5'5", so she wins more with craft, pace, and competitive edge than sheer size, and NKU’s staff clearly values her experience and toughness after bringing her in as a transfer.[6][15]
