Tylo Phillips brings veteran interior DL production and steady run-stopping value to Tulane
Tylo Phillips is a proven, experienced defensive lineman for Tulane whose profile is built on reliability more than flash: in the 2022 season, he posted 25 tackles, including 15 solo stops, plus 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. He looks like the kind of low-drama, high-effort trench player coaches trust because he can anchor against the run and do the dirty work inside. The key appeal is his toughness and consistency—exactly the sort of fit a physical defense wants when it needs a dependable DL who won’t disappear on Saturdays.
