Grambling State’s local leg weapon with proven reliability
Marquise McKnight, a Baton Rouge native and Grambling State kicker/punter, brings compact 5-foot-10, 195-pound toughness and special-teams versatility, with early-career game reps that included a 56-yard punt in 2021 and a spring-game PAT in 2022. He was recruited as a first-team all-district kicker out of Madison Prep, which fits the profile of a steady, high-floor specialist rather than a flashy highlight machine. For a team needing dependable kicking depth, local poise, and coverage-value upside, he looks like a smart, no-drama fit.
