Emerging Eastern Illinois WR with proven game reps
Welch’s current value is as a **depth wide receiver** who has already logged meaningful snaps for Eastern Illinois, appearing in 10 games and finishing the 2025 season with 10 catches for 78 yards, including a four-catch outing at Indiana State.[4] At 6-foot-6 and 316 pounds in the available player data, he brings uncommon size for a listed receiver, which can matter if you want a physical mismatch or red-zone target.[2] The main question is upside: the stat line is modest, so he profiles more as a developmental, role-specific fit than an instant-impact playmaker.[4]
