Charlotte’s fifth-year righty brings strike-throwing grit and big-game poise
In the 2026 season, Charlotte right-hander Adam Stanton has been a steady bullpen-to-rotation weapon, posting a 4-1 record with a 4.38 ERA, 61.2 innings, and 47 strikeouts while logging 23 appearances. His calling card is durability and swing-and-miss in pressure spots: Charlotte’s staff leaned on him in key late-season moments, and he was named American Conference Pitcher of the Week after a 6.1-inning, scoreless relief outing that helped punch the 49ers into the conference tournament. At 6-3, 230, the fifth-year veteran looks like a tough, battle-tested fit for teams valuing competitiveness, innings, and composure.
