Alcorn State Guard from a Bygone Era
Derrick Blackwell, a guard for the Alcorn State Braves, last played in the 2009-10 season, averaging modest 1.9 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game at 34.0% FG—solid bench production but no standout stats or recent activity as of 2026. No current performance data, rankings, or pro scout buzz; he's not an active college asset. Strengths like multi-sport grit (later football coaching) don't translate to hoops impact now—skip unless hunting vintage trivia, not roster fits.
