Johnson is a guard for Wagner who showed real early promise as a freshman, starting 13 of 15 games and averaging 6.0 points in 21.6 minutes, before a quieter 2024-25 season in which she played 26 games and averaged 1.7 points. Her differentiator is experience in a rotation role plus the upside of having already earned trust as a starter, and Wagner notes she is one of four Canadians on the roster, which can hint at a mature, adaptable background. She looks more like a developmental fit than an immediate stat-stuffing star.
