Herbert Booker’s ball-hawking background still pops for A&T
Herbert Booker entered North Carolina A&T as a defensive back after a high-school résumé that included 9 interceptions and 4 pick-sixes as a senior, which tells you the guy has real takeaway instincts and isn’t shy about making plays. The main draw is his nose for the football and edge in the secondary; the question for any team is whether that ball skills-first profile translates cleanly against stronger college speed and spacing.
