Southern’s Codie Smith is a depth piece to track, not a stats headline yet
Codie Smith appears on Southern University’s football roster as a DB, but there’s no clear public stat profile or game-impact data available in the current season, so the tape-and-practice value matters more than box-score noise. The practical read: he’s the kind of player you care about if your team wants secondary depth, developmental upside, and a defender who may be judged more on instincts, effort, and special-teams utility than raw production.
