Jabari Jones brings return-game juice and under-the-radar versatility
Jones is a small but useful defensive back/special-teams piece whose most visible 2025 impact came as a punt returner, where Jackson State listed him with 104 punt-return yards on seven returns for a 14.9-yard average and a long of 25 yards. That kind of burst matters because it hints at short-area quickness, confidence, and field-flipping value beyond basic tackle stats. If you need a depth defender who can help hidden yardage immediately, he looks like a fit; if you want a bulky, high-volume box safety, he is not that profile.
