Sac State DB Michael Wright: veteran depth with special-teams grit
Michael Wright is a Sacramento State defensive back who brings veteran know-how, toughness, and special-teams value more than headline-grabbing stats; Sacramento State’s roster records show him as a 5-foot-10, 200-pound DB who played in seven games as a reserve back and on special teams in the 2018 season[1][4]. For a team, he fits as a reliable, physical depth piece who can handle contact, stay assignment-sound, and add experience to a secondary even if his profile is built on role value rather than flashy ball-hawk numbers[1][3][9].
