Una Hamala brings defensive depth and ball-hawking upside to USD
Una Hamala is a San Diego Toreros defensive back/linebacker listed on the roster, but public stat tracking shows little recent game production, so his value is more about depth, preparation, and role fit than headline numbers. ESPN’s profile shows an interception on his record, which hints at instinct and opportunistic playmaking, while USD’s roster page lists no current season statistics for him. If you want a defender who can add physicality, special-teams usefulness, and developmental upside, he’s the kind of under-the-radar piece worth monitoring.
