Oakland’s Camden Cooper: big frame, heavy workload, and a rough 2026 results page
In the 2026 season, Oakland RHP Camden Cooper has been a volume arm who’s trusted in multiple relief spots, but the results have been uneven: 17.2 innings, a 15.28 ERA, 37 hits, 30 earned runs, and just 6 strikeouts. His calling card is the pro-style frame at 6-foot-4 and 163 pounds with a right/right profile and enough usage to earn late-game opportunities, including a save early in the year. The fit question is simple: if your staff wants an innings-eater with upside and mound experience, he’s intriguing; if you need immediate swing-and-miss command, the 2026 production says “not yet.”
