Utah Tech’s 6-2 guard with upside and burst
Barnes is a 6-2 guard from Moreno Valley, Calif., listed as a sophomore at Utah Tech, but the public roster does not show current season stats, so the picture is more projection than production right now[1]. His appeal is clear: a compact guard frame, athletic upside, and enough versatility to have kept him in the mix across multiple seasons, including prior Division I experience at Utah Tech[1][4]. If your team needs a proven stat sheet star, he’s not that yet; if you want a developmental guard with energy and room to grow, he’s worth a hard look[1][4].
