Pitt's 2007 Big East Elite DE with Untapped NFL Potential
Joe Clermond, a 6'3", 260-lb redshirt junior defensive lineman for the 2006-2007 Pittsburgh Panthers, stood out as one of the Big East's top defensive ends, blending explosive pass-rushing strength with high-motor intensity that made him a 2010 Defensive Player of the Year nominee; his high school versatility (101 tackles, 6 INTs as a senior at Chamberlain HS) and Pitt highlight tape showcase rare athleticism and leadership, though limited recent data suggests he's post-college—perfect fit for teams seeking gritty, undersized DEs with pro upside like Reggie White comparisons from NFL legends.
