the steady, high-IQ floor general who made UVA tick
In the 2022-23 season, Kihei Clark averaged 10.7 points and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 39.9% from the field and 35.2% from three, a strong marker of a compact, efficient lead guard[12]. He’s best known for pace control, toughness, and making the right read under pressure, plus he owned the most career victories in Virginia history and the most ACC wins in program history by January 2023[5][7]. At 5-foot-9, he wasn’t about size—he was about poise, organization, and big-moment reliability, which makes him a fit for teams that value command, continuity, and edge over flash[5][11].
