steady, versatile guard-forward with proven two-way value at American
Maria Werries was a 5-foot-10 guard-forward at American and, in her career at the program, posted 8.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while starting as a multi-year presence for the Eagles. Her game profile points to a wing who could stretch the floor a bit, attack gaps, and handle connective duties, with past game logs showing she could swing momentum with timely perimeter shots. For a roster needing a dependable, adaptable two-way piece rather than a pure volume scorer, she’s the kind of all-around fit coaches tend to trust.
