Darian Cooper’s Iowa résumé still pops: disruptive, powerful, and battle-tested
Darian Cooper entered Iowa as a highly regarded defensive tackle and built his reputation on interior disruption, with early-career notes highlighting quick backfield burst, strength, and even a school-record five-sack game in high school; in 2013, he appeared in all 13 games and logged 18 tackles, including a sack, before battling major knee injuries that slowed his availability. The biggest reason to care: when healthy, he brings real force inside and the kind of motor Iowa loves, but the injury history is the deciding factor for any team weighing him as a fit.
