Willie Tyler III brings veteran size and pass-protection upside to Rutgers' front line
In the 2022 season, Willie Tyler III started nine games at left tackle for Rutgers and helped the offense post a 460-yard outing at Michigan State while the line allowed no sacks in a win over Indiana[1]. At 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds, he’s a big, movable veteran who has played multiple stops before Rutgers, and that experience usually shows up in his poise and assignment reliability[1][2]. The fit question is simple: if you want a seasoned tackle with proven college starting experience and a sturdy frame, he’s worth a look[1][4].
