Anthony Williams brings proven interior-line grit to App State
Anthony Williams is a sturdy, workmanlike defensive lineman for Appalachian State, with historical evidence of being a dependable interior presence who can stack tackles, disrupt plays in the backfield, and even finish with sacks and forced turnovers. In the 2008 season, he logged 55 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks, earning second-team all-conference recognition, which hints at a player teams can trust in the trenches. The fit question is simple: if you want a tone-setter who plays with consistent effort, toughness, and veteran reliability, he’s your guy.
