Azar Ghezae brings two-way punch and guard size to UCCS
Azar Ghezae is a 6-foot-4 guard for UCCS who arrived with a strong high-school résumé and a proven all-around game, including 19.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game in the 2023-24 season at DSST Conservatory Green. His value goes beyond box-score pop: he played on both ends, was a three-time honor roll student, and profiles as a big-bodied, versatile perimeter piece who can pressure the ball, rebound from the guard spot and make winning plays. For a roster needing size, activity and basketball IQ on the wing, he’s a pretty intriguing fit.
