Alcorn State DB Dennard Johnson brings veteran depth and a size-speed profile that fits the Braves' secondary
Dennard Johnson profiles as a sturdy, experience-backed defensive back for Alcorn State, listed on the Braves’ roster at 6-foot, 180 pounds and wearing No. 14. The clearest differentiator here is positional value: a bigger DB with enough length and physicality to match up in space and support the run, which is useful in the SWAC’s speed-heavy offenses. Publicly available current production details are limited, so the main takeaway is fit and traits rather than headline stats. If your team wants a dependable, in-the-box capable defensive back with veteran build, he’s the kind of chess piece coaches appreciate.
