Colton Kennedy brings a live mid-90s arm and veteran strikeout bite to UVU’s rotation
In the 2026 season, Colton Kennedy profiles as Utah Valley’s hard-throwing senior RHP with real swing-and-miss stuff: UVU says his fastball has touched 98 mph, and he logged a team-high 61 strikeouts in 56 innings in 2025 before showing a season-high eight strikeouts in a March 2026 start. The flip side is command and run prevention have been inconsistent, so he looks more like a high-upside, competitive innings-eater than a finished product. If your team wants velocity, experience, and a pitcher who can miss bats, Kennedy is absolutely worth a look.
