Versatile DB with Elite Recovery Speed, No Navy Midshipmen Link Found
Casey Hughes, a 6-0 cornerback most notably from Utah (junior season starter) and Michigan, stands out with 247Sports ratings highlighting recovery speed (7) and length (7), ideal for press coverage against speedy receivers—differentiator in a stat-sheet era where ball skills (5) lag but instincts (6) shine in tape. Limited college production (e.g., 14 tackles at Vanderbilt across 13 games) reflects special teams role early on, no injury flags, high-motor competitor from Legacy HS highlights. Not on Navy's OT roster; scout-worthy for developmental CB depth if valuing athletic traits over polish.
