Anthony Perkins brings veteran DB credibility and proven tackling production to Colorado
Perkins is a former Colorado defensive back whose best calling card was dependable, physical play: he finished his CU career with 236 tackles, ranking among the school’s all-time leaders, and was a team captain in 2011. He is the kind of player coaches trust because he combines experience, toughness, and accountability, with the extra value of understanding the program from both sides of the ball as a former player and later staff member. For a roster needing a steady, high-floor defensive voice, that’s a real differentiator.
