Stony Brook LB Peter Dowling: local product, hard-nosed depth piece with upside
Peter Dowling is listed as a Stony Brook linebacker from Sachem High School, but publicly available current game-impact stats are limited, so the most useful read is his profile as a physical Long Island defender with college-program familiarity and a hometown edge[3]. What stands out is the fit: he brings the kind of blue-collar, team-first energy coaches love in a linebacker room, and his value would hinge on special teams, reliability, and whether he can convert that local-rooted toughness into measurable production at the FCS level[3].
