Eastern Illinois LB Matt Westrick brings depth and toughness to the Panthers' front seven
Matt Westrick is a linebacker for Eastern Illinois who profiles as a depth-and-development piece with the kind of physical, no-nonsense presence coaches usually want in the middle of a defense. ESPN lists him as an active Panthers linebacker, but publicly available stats and scouting detail are limited, so the strongest read is that he is a roster player to watch for physicality, effort, and special-teams value rather than headline production.[1] If your team needs a steady, hard-hitting LB who can compete for snaps and raise the practice tempo, he is the type of fit worth tracking.
