Alcorn State’s Gregory Shaffer: steady long-snapper profile with special-teams value
Gregory Shaffer is listed by Alcorn State as a junior long snapper at 5'11", 218 pounds, and the biggest takeaway is consistency over flash—exactly what you want from a specialist. He has no public game logs or counting stats available, which is normal for the position, but roster data shows he has stayed in the program and retained a special-teams role across seasons. He looks like a fit for a team that values reliability, size, and snap-to-snap discipline over highlight-reel production.
