Physical G/F with Career-High 22-Point Scoring Burst and Elite Size for Austin Peay
Evan Hinson, a 6'5" G/F for Austin Peay, stands out with his rare 240-pound frame (2019) that battles low and delivers physical intensity, complemented by a career-high 22-point scoring burst in 2022 and recent 6.6 PPG international stats (2025-26). His differentiators include elite size for a guard, a 3-steal game showing defensive hustle, and a personality that thrives in high-pressure moments, averaging 9.1 PPG during a key Jan-Feb 2020 stretch. While his 35.5% FG% (2023) suggests shooting inconsistency, his intensity and versatility make him a perfect fit for teams needing a physical, high-energy presence who can score in bursts and defend multiple positions. No major injury history is noted, and his Deltona, FL roots reflect a competitive, two-sport background.
