Reliable Alabama DB with proven production and championship pedigree
Geno Matias-Smith brings the kind of steady, physical back-end presence that coaches love: at Alabama he was a multi-year contributor and, in the 2025 data cited, posted 51 tackles, 21 assisted tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception, signaling dependable run support and consistent involvement near the ball. His differentiator is experience in a demanding, high-pressure program—he’s been trusted in a championship environment, which often matters as much as raw stats when evaluating fit. If you need a composed, assignment-sound defensive back who can tackle and stabilize the secondary, he profiles as a solid fit.
