Versatile Tennessee DB With a Proven Playmaker’s Edge
Jason Allen’s Tennessee résumé shows why he stood out: in the 2004 season he earned AP third-team All-American honors, was second-team All-SEC, and finished as a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist after flashing in coverage and playing both safety and cornerback. He was a four-year letterman and three-year starter for the Volunteers, a versatile defensive back who brought physicality, ball skills, and big-game credibility. If you want a DB who can move around the secondary and handle real pressure, Allen checks a lot of boxes.
