Rodric Black brings senior savvy, gap power, and clutch versatility to SFA
In the 2026 season, Stephen F. Austin senior Rodric Black has shown a useful blend of contact, speed, and situational pop, with multiple RBI hits, a two-run homer, an RBI triple, and even a bunt single in key spots. He also adds value on the bases and across the infield, which makes him the kind of gritty, matchup-flexible piece coaches love. The stat line says “reliable”; the game context says “competitive and timely,” a solid fit for a team needing a veteran glue guy who can impact innings without needing the spotlight.
