Auburn DT Greg Smith: Big-bodied trench piece with SEC fit, but current 2026 impact is hard to pin down
Greg Smith is listed as an Auburn defensive tackle from Booneville, Mississippi, but the available public data here does not show clear 2026 production stats or standout injury context, so his current impact is difficult to verify. What is clear is the frame: a true interior lineman who profiles as a size-and-power add for Auburn’s front, the kind of player teams want if they need body control, gap integrity, and road-grader potential. If you’re looking for instant stat-sheet fireworks, he’s not that guy; if you want a developmental DT with SEC-level physicality, he’s worth a closer look.
