North Texas K Jose Serrano: Low-visibility roster piece, high-value special-teams depth
Jose Serrano is listed as a kicker for North Texas, but public team bio data is sparse, so his current on-field impact is hard to verify from available stats alone. What stands out most is profile utility: kickers matter when they are steady, trustworthy, and ready under pressure, and Serrano’s value will hinge on consistency, leg strength, and reliability in live special-teams situations. Based on available sources, he looks more like a depth-and-development option than a proven statistical standout right now, which makes him a fit only if your team wants a long-term specialist with upside.
