veteran Cal linebacker with solid size and a special-teams résumé
In the 2026 season, Perron Wiley is listed by Cal as a 6-foot, 200-pound senior linebacker from Fresno’s Clovis West High, but the available roster page does not show current season statistics. The clearest read on him is that he brings veteran depth, local roots, and a hard-nosed profile that Cal has historically leaned on for special teams and linebacker rotation work. If your team wants a physical, experienced, lower-ego defender who can add toughness and reliability, Wiley fits that mold.
