veteran Navy post presence with size and a touch of old-school grit
Lauren Nelson is listed by Navy as a 6-foot-2 center and, while the available public roster info is historical rather than current-season production, her profile points to a classic interior big: size, rebounding, and physicality around the paint. In her Navy season highlights, she showed she could chip in on the glass and protect the rim, including a season-best six rebounds and a three-block game, which suggests value as a blue-collar, low-drama frontcourt piece. If a team wants an inside anchor rather than a ball-dominant scorer, she fits the mold.
