the quietly reliable Buffalo long snapper who made every punt snap count
In the 2023 season, Evan Davis started all 12 games at long snapper for Buffalo on punts and field goals, and his calling card is simple but valuable: durability, consistency, and trust on special teams. Over five seasons, he handled the Bulls’ long-snapping duties in all 57 games and earned Academic All-MAC recognition four times, plus Hampshire Honor Society honors in 2024. For a team, that means a low-drama specialist with proven availability, strong fundamentals, and a steady enough profile to be a plug-and-play fit.
