Brock Merritt brings size and SEC-style trench potential to Coastal Carolina
In the 2026 season, Brock Merritt is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound junior offensive lineman for Coastal Carolina, giving the Chanticleers a big-bodied interior/edge presence with enough frame to anchor in pass protection and move people in the run game[2][3]. He stands out more for build and upside than splashy box-score stats — as an OL, his value is in durability, leverage, and consistency, and the fact he’s listed on the active roster suggests he remains in the mix as a developmental piece for Coastal’s front[2].
