Zak Swetye brings walk-on grit, veteran polish, and Xavier swagger
In the 2025-26 season, Zak Swetye is a 6-1 senior guard for Xavier and a fourth-year walk-on whose value goes beyond the box score: he’s a two-time league all-star in high school and a school record-holder for 3-pointers in a season and career, which screams shooting touch and competitive confidence.[1] The fit? He looks like a high-IQ, steady locker-room plus who can space the floor, keep habits sharp, and energize a roster with his veteran professionalism and underdog edge.[1]
