Big-frame Minnesota kicker with proven local pedigree
Grant Ryerse was a highly regarded specialist prospect out of East Ridge, rated the nation’s No. 2 kicker in the 2017 class, and he spent his Minnesota career as a kicker/punter with a 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame that gives him unusual pop and reliability on special teams[3][6]. His best value is the blend of size, local roots, and proven scholarship-level experience at Minnesota, making him a useful fit for a program that wants a sturdy, pressure-friendly specialist with snap-to-hold familiarity and no-frills consistency[2][6].
