Long, low-usage Detroit forward with size and defensive role-player upside
In the latest available college season for Jason Praet at Detroit Mercy, the 6-foot-7 forward posted modest box-score numbers, but his value is more about length, rebound potential, and spot-minute defense than volume scoring. His profile points to a classic glue-guy fit: stay ready, protect possessions, do the little things, and bring size without needing plays run for him. If you need a polished offensive engine, he is not that; if you need a physical, team-first forward who can survive in a role, he has the frame and temperament to be worth a look.
