Barbara Benson brings veteran guard savvy and two-way grit to Prairie View A&M
Barbara Benson is a 5-10 guard from Waco who has bounced through UTSA and UT Arlington before landing at Prairie View A&M, giving the Lady Panthers a seasoned, adaptable backcourt piece rather than a raw flyer. Her earlier college profile shows a steady all-around game—handling the ball, creating assists, and contributing steals—which suggests a guard who can stabilize possessions and defend with edge. If you want experience, toughness, and a player who can slot into multiple roles without needing the ball to be everything, she’s a smart fit.
