Carter Hankins brings a polished, dual-threat look to Southern Miss
Carter Hankins is listed by Southern Miss as a 2026 quarterback at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, giving the Golden Eagles a sturdy, experienced build under center. Public stats on his current college production are limited, so the scouting picture leans more on profile than box score: he looks like a developmental QB with size, transfer experience, and the kind of frame coaches like for a physical offense. If your team wants a ready-made star, the evidence is thin; if you want a depth piece with upside and a legit college body, Hankins is intriguing.
