veteran Winthrop guard with local roots and long-view value
Tyron Myers is a Goose Creek, S.C. guard who has been tied to Winthrop for years, and the clearest current signal is context: he’s a hometown name with program familiarity rather than a stat-sheet spotlight. Publicly available records don’t show meaningful recent box-score production for his college career, so the fit question leans more on role and culture than raw numbers. If a team wants a guard who knows the environment, brings continuity, and can be evaluated more on practice impact and basketball IQ than headline stats, Myers is the kind of under-the-radar piece worth keeping an eye on.
