Dominick Covatto brings verified size and interior run-stopping upside to Delaware’s defensive front
Covatto is a big-bodied defensive tackle at 6-3, 310 pounds who arrived with all-state, all-district, and all-region recognition from Cathedral Prep, giving Delaware a proven interior anchor with power and frame advantages that translate well inside.[3] His profile suggests a classic space-eating DT fit: someone who can hold the point, absorb blocks, and help protect linebackers from downhill runs rather than chase stats.[2][3] For a team looking for physicality, depth, and a tough inside presence, he fits the mold of a dependable trench piece with starter-level traits.[2][3]
